Helping teens and young adults find their footing amidst loss, change, and new seasons of life.
Have you experienced a loss that has left you grieving more than just the loss itself? You might be grieving a person you thought you knew or a future you always imagined. Grief might feel numb—staying as busy as possible to avoid confronting the pain. Or it might feel crushing—like you can’t do anything without being reminded of what you’ve lost.
Here’s the thing: Grief is the great equalizer. Even those of us who seem to "have it all together" can struggle in the face of unexpected emotional experiences around a traumatic event. I want to offer you a space to realize that your experiences are real, normal, and valid.
Maybe you’re a young adult who’s trying to figure out who you actually want to be in life. You’re noticing patterns in your relationships that leave you feeling like something is wrong with you. You’re wondering what’s missing. Let’s find understanding and meaning behind your reactions, rewiring those patterns in order to better serve you.
Therapy with me is truly nonjudgmental—you never have to worry about me thinking poorly or less of you. I see the humanity in everyone, and my diverse experience means I’ve seen a lot. All of your experiences, questions, and emotions are welcome here. Period.
You’re here grappling with some of the toughest challenges in life, and I see you in that. I can’t promise that this journey will always be easy, but I can promise that I’ll be with you every step of the way. Because even if you can’t articulate it right now, there is a path toward peace that’s right for you. And together, we can find it.
I maintain a growth mindset as a therapist, believing there is always more to learn in order to better serve clients, and regularly engage in continued education and trainings. In addition to my therapy work, I have also been a massage therapist for 13 years, specializing in Ashiatsu and facial massage.
